Got Visitor Visa but not the Visitor Permit

Hi

I am asking on behalf of a friend who is in Canada on PGWV and his wife came lately with a Visitor visa stamped on the passport for 4 years however when she arrived they did not issue her Visitor permit in the airport !! and the officer mentioned something like 6 months ( maybe to stay )

how can she get the Visitor permit sent to her?

If her passport was not specifically stamped with a date then assume she is authorised to stay for 6 months

If she wants to stay longer then she will have to apply to extend stay as a visitor around about month 5 of her stay

There is no permit to be sent to her.

I think if her husband has NOC 0,A,B job then she can apply for OPW. Else she will remain a visitor.

Did she have special authorization to enter or are they from the US if they entered recently?
