Got the visa !!

Received the stamped passport today ;D ;D

AOR received from Buffalo: June 04, 2009
Transferred to LosAngeles: April 08, 2010
Medical Request received: April 26, 2010
Medicals done: May, 2010
Passport request mid August
Received passport - Today


After sending so many photos, I was expecting the visa to have our scanned photos on it (like US visa).

It took little more than 3 weeks for LA office to send the stamped passport back. I had sent it to them through UPS.

My NOC code is 0213. If your docs are in place then it should be done within 1.5 yrs. Right now they are moving pretty fast.
I took the help of a lawyer to avoid any glitches......and I didn't have the time also
