Hello
Does any have idea?
Which one is the best way to bring my wife with me.
I got the copr and going for marriage and did not landed yet.
So, I don't have the PR card and I talked with an agent CIC.
She suggested two ways,
1) either I put my PR on hold and landed as a temporary resident and wait until my wife's file processed and get approved and it might affect my every documents as they don't have a fix time on that
2) landed or change the boarder so I have now status as PR and once I get my PR card, I can apply sponsorship.
Please help me out,
Which one is the best method and shortest one?
You can land as PR so long as you declare yourself as Married and your wife's was added to your PR application and she did her medical exam. Otherwise, if you go ahead and land as PR without your wife's medical exam completed or declared, she will forever be banned from spousal sponsorship.
You cannot land until you have properly added your wife to your application. (medical exam and police check...etc)
You will get new COPR with new status with your wife.
Since you are married and not single any more, landing with your current COPR will stop you from sponsoring your wife. (forever)
