Got Study Visa Stamp on passport but no Port of entry (POE) or Letter of introduction (LOI).

Hi people,
I recently got my student visa approved from Canada Visa office New Delhi, India for May intake. In the parcel I have got from VFS Jalandhar there was nothing except my passport with the visa counterfoil on it. I have written an email to the high commission New Delhi to send me POE or LOI which is needed while entering Canada as per their website's requirement. I haven't got any reply from them. I will be flying soon may be in two weeks time wondering if anyone with the same situation got to enter Canada without the letter?
Please share your views on this.

you can get it online from your CIC account by IRCC login. It will appear as a message in the "submitted application" section (It may take approx 24 hours, for the message to appear in the account, after the study permit approval).
POE will be issued by the Canada Border Services Agency on your arrival to the Canada.

if you don't have an account, then get one
1. Create an account or sign in (recommendation - Do this with generating GCKey)

2. Link your paper application to your online account

3. Check the application status once you link your application... (Get your LOI)

Thanks for this information.
For some reason, it is not showing up in my account. It’s been more than a week now. When I log in there is no LOI.
I have filled the form to resend it to me but not replies and also have sent them an email, no replies.

When they sent me acknowledgment. Before my study visa was approved at that time I linked it. Everything else is there like I can check my status it says application was approved. But no LOI there.

I have done this after waiting for 48 hours when I received my passport. I have also sent an enquiry email to delhi high commission. Tried calling them as well, after attempting so many calls got to speak to someone who was very rude and did not tell anything about whether letter of approval is needed or not. It is quite strange that online on their website nothing clearly states whether a student needs it or not.
I am sure people with work visas need it but not sure about us? I am leaving in a couple of weeks and God knows whether I will be fine with it or not.

You must carry LOI with you. you'll need to show it to the Canada Border Services Agency Officer...

Thanks for your help dear. You mean to say shall I walk in to VFS office or you mean shall I go to the Canadian Visa Office New Delhi who issued me the visa?

I haven’t got any reply from any authority. I wonder if I will get any or not. I tried calling them in Canada but they are so busy that the call is never transfered due to high volume of calls.

You don't need that. I also didn't get it when I got visa. Just tell visa officer in Canada you didn't get it.

I too didn't got it. I mailed Chandigarh embassy and delhi embassy and i have a print of that email so dont worry
