I am a B.Tech grad from India, I applied for Seneca College 2 year diploma and got admitted there, My visa got rejected the first time on 8th August 2021 with the following reasons:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. • Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of: your qualifications, previous studies, mark sheets, academic record, level of establishment and/or your future prospects and plans
I applied my visa again on the 13th August with better SOP addressing both the concerns and on 8th November I received my second rejection with the following reasons:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
They removed one reason in the second filing. I am very disappointed in the decision I received. Can you please guide me how to proceed forward as I have completed half of my semester in the course.

If what you are taking is a simple diploma rather than a post-graduate diploma, that's most likely a big part of the problem. A diploma is a lower level of education than a Bachelor and this program of study doesn't make sense. That's most likely the reason why you received the "purpose of visit" refusal reason. You should be taking a post graduate diploma.

Your diploma program makes no sense. You applied to a diploma program that only requires high school and you have a BTech degree. Plus you just graduated two months ago. You can’t show career or education progression. You should be applying to a post grad program or Masters. VOs don’t believe you are a genuine student.
Most people with a BTech opt for the 1+1 route - they get a study permit for a 1 year grad cert that offers more specialization in their field. Then, once you're in Canada and you've completed your grad cert you apply for a 2nd one, extend your study permit and get a 3 year PGWP at the end of it...
Here are a few grad certs from Seneca, for example:

Thanks for the reply I would now definitely will try to get into a post grad diploma and then apply for my student visa. But just a thing my friend who did the same course I did in India in the same year, same batch also applied for the same course that I did and got accepted for the visa. Is it just me or he got super lucky.

Your purpose of visit is likely trying to use a study permit as an way to get to Canada so you can try to enter the labor market or to immigrate permanently. That is definitely a refusal from the VO
I would recommend do a cheap MBA for most people who have bachelors.
Ryerson University has MBA for techies that can cost between $45K-$50K.
Your regular courses are $35K but that extra $10K gives you better chance of getting visa.
Also, they are very random. So if your friend got it he is lucky, you are the norm.
