I have been approved both for USA GC card and PR for Canada. I am confused which one to take? I can not keep both as I am told.

GC is my preference but Health Insurance is problem as it is not covered by many employers and it is beyond means for most individuals.

PR is good for Health Insurance but I want to live in BC which is too expensive and also taxes are too high.

Please suggest. I have to decide by June 2011.

If I were to choose, I would prefer Canada but not to settle in BC. Economy wise, Canada is better than US. Just my 2 cents.
BTW, did you receive your passports back with the CA visa in it? What's your current e cas status? Thank you.

Medical but want to retire.

If i were you, i will go to Canada land get my Pr and return to us. Since you are already working in usa , it will always be the bette option. Most people in medical have to go through so many procedures to be licensed.

think very well.

To aspire

No my PP is not yet received. The case is like yours should receives information by this week.

Vancouver is my only choice due to weather and my previous living in Canada. I want to have a retirement life. My choice in USA is California where again I studied and lived long time back. I can not live in a cold country.

Best of luck with your PP early arrival. Hope we will receive at the same time possibly this week. My NOC is 4121.
