I just got PPR , but i have some questions
1. I apply for FSW [ Arranged employment ,as im working in canada] ,do i have to send my original work permit along wth the passport? or the copy one is enough?
2. My son was born in canada during the time my appliction is in process and i sent them his birth certificate ,passport but they didnt send the email back to me that they already got my family update. SO should i send his document along with my passport again?
3. How long to get passport back from NYVO this day? is it over two month?
4. Do i have to add my canadian son to the passport request form as my accompanying family member?

Hi tigger 007, congratulation for your PPR as per other post form this site it will take around 2 weeks but again its not fix how long it will take.
can you please share your timeline please. how long does it take to get PPR after your medical?

If they are asking for your passport, you're done. If the work permit is affixed to your passport, you should send it along. Regardless of whether or not you send the WP, it becomes invalid once you become a PR of Canada, because only a foreign national can have a work permit.

No. Your son is a Canadian citizen by birth, so they don't need any of his documents. Indeed, that's why they didn't ask you for anything else anyway - he's Canadian, he doesn't need to go through the PR process.

Two months for a US VO would be long. Generally it seems to take a couple of weeks. Is there a reason you ask about this? Does your WP expire in two months?

I think since the time you registered on the site they restricted the timeline functionality to people with ten or more posts. You're one post away and then you can change it from the "profile" page.

because i am waiting for PPR i did my medical 2 month ago my file is in Newyork.
