hi,
i would be happy to share my experience and preparation
i studied all the cambridge books for ielts 1--7 thoroughly
these books helped me a lot,
also give more stress towards writing and speaking section
also keep track of the time in each and every section
listening was very easy, all you need is concentration
writing was difficult and i was not able to keep track of the time
i spent 35 minutes on task-1 due to which very less time was left for task-2
that is why i was not able to score good in writing section
in reading section also i was out of time at the end due to which i was not able to spend time on the last 4
questions. i was left only with one option i.e. to guess the answers for last 4 questions
i believe that if i had kept an eye on time i would also have scored atleast 8- bands in reading section

so, friends time management is really a very important thing for succeeding in ielts exam
do not make the mistakes which i have made
