Got My IELTS Result today

So I got my IELTS result today and my results are:

Speaking 8.5 Surprise as I thought my accent my be a problem
Listening 8
Writing 7.5
Reading 8

Average Score 8

16 points in the bag. Time to send off my application to the CIO

Why don't you take what you want and leave what you don't. What do you want, a notarized copy of my IELTS score? If you have been following this section, you would have realized that this thread was a follow up on an earlier post I made about my apprehension for the test. I put this up hoping to inspire a few who might have the kind of pre-test apprehension as I had.

Now, stop being a killjoy and move on.

I used mostly a study guide book recommended by the British council here http://alcexams.ucd.ie/ielts/node/4

There are also free practice on this site http://www.examenglish.com/IELTS/cbIELTS_reading.htm
