So I recently got an ITA for PR however my spouse lives in another country and I am in Canada. I have to do a Common Law Statutory Declaration Form and get it notarized. How can I do this seeing that we are both in two different countries? Can I do it via a virtual session with a notary public witnessing this? I have reached out to couple notaries and they said they can witness us signing the declaration but I am wondering if IRCC will accept it. I welcome any suggestions or recommendations
