I have had multiple interviews and one of em has a pretty good chance of me getting the job. However I am still a graduate student with 1 year to go. They would of course want me to join ASAP as it's a startup. I am not sure if it is possible to get a work permit while in Canada before finishing studies. Even if I did get a work permit, would it look bad for PR later on?
If the employer can get an approved LMIA, you can then apply for a work permit.
No - this won't have any negative impact on PR later on. Although obviously you won't be able to claim points for any education you haven't completed.
