This is my first post on this forum. I have taken the IELTS General Training exam the 2nd week of February and have received an overall band of 8.5. My individual scores are
Reading 8.0
Speaking 8.5
Writing 8.5 and
Listening 8.0.
I have been told this is a pretty good score to quality for the Express Entry program, assuming the rest of the application is strong enough.
Please suggest to me what's the best way for me to immigrate to Canada, would Express Entry be the best one for me?
I have close to a decade work experience in the US and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the USA. Expert opinions welcome. Thanks in advance.
Your score is excellent and you have maxed on your ielts. There is no way you can increase those scores. Now enter the pool and get on with your application.

This is indeed very good score. Considering you have Masters, your CRS score should be pretty good. However, final CRS will depend on age and work exp as well. So, try entering your details in CRS tool. You'll get to know.
As far as language skills are considered, you will not get max points only for Listening points. You'll have max points for rest of the 3 sections
