My common law application was received on Oct 2020. You can find my detailed timelines in the signature. So I received AIP eligibility letter yesterday, and just received Pre-Arrival Letter earlier this morning. I thought open work permit should come before all these?

I've been waiting for the OWP since my visitor record will expire on June 10th... only 9 days left. Do you think it's better to apply for a second visitor record extension? Or should I call CIC and ask them what's going on with my OWP?
