1. Does this mean the process is over and I am sure to get a visa?
2. I applied for my visa from outside canada...however I am required
to send my passport to Ottawa. I thought I had to go to some embassy in my location.
3. Once I get this visa...am i required to be in Canada immediately? because
I am currently engaged in some important work for another 4 months.

1. YES THE PROCESS is OVER.. CONGRATULATIONS .
2. If you are presently not in canada and want your visa stamping to be done in some other country, immediately write an email back to CPC-Ottawa and request for stamping to be done in your present country of residence.
3. Generally CIC gievs you a window of 5-8 months for landing and activating your PR. However this is completely dependent on when your medicals were recieved by CIC. and CIC generally establishes a window on 1 year from that date. So for example in my case i did my Medicals for PR on 20th Feb 2015. and in my COPR document the landing deadline date is 26th feb 2016.
Hence based on that you can assume your landing deadline date to be somewhat around the time when you did your medicals.

It's not over until it's over (landing completed). But you're very close to it.

You will receive CoPR document with expiry date on it (usually 1 year since medical done). You can land any time before expiry date.
