I am just getting prices of moving our things from Ireland to Toronto but some of the removal companies say I don't need to come to the CBSA office and that they deal with everything so from the time from packing it till its delivered at our house in Ontario we have to do nothing and then some are say I have to come down to the CBSA with the list of good to follow form to get it cleared? They can't both be right. Have looked for an email address to ask the CBSA with no luck.
We contacted Mayflower (a moving van company, about moving our goods. They said, we would have to meet the truck in a specific place, I think Hamilton Ontario - to have the truck unsealed there 'officially' and then we would be allowed to continue to our true new town/city of choice with the moving van.
