Goods to follow but not bringing them all at once

I am brining most if my goods on my goods to follow list in 2 weeks as a permenant resident. My question is the few things I'm not bringing at this time how do I mark them or do they do that at border. Should I have a list typed out that I am not bringing that day but is still on my goods to follow list to come later tax free
