I am aware that once you land in Canada you can fill out the b4 form to list the items that you are bringing into the country either at the moment of landing or later on.
My question is: how long is the b4 form valid for? In other words: if I land today and declare all of my goods in it, how long do I have to bring them in without paying the import taxes? Is there a expiry date?

There is no Expiry Date once it has been accepted by CBSA. However, you should have your B4 and any required B4a(s) ready before you land, assuming that you are not intending to land and then return home to tidy up your affairs there. The CBSA officer refused to accept my B4 because 10 months had elapsed between my "landing" and my actual return to Canada to "settle". So, it seems that your ability to actually submit your B4 might be time limited.
