I have to appeal my spousal sponsor. His visa was refused becasue of the police clearance from Malaysia. I

Do you guys know any good immigration lawyer?

I am in the same spot.
 
it depends where the Appeal will be heard. If its in Toronto, count on 2 years unless you get ADR. IF its one or two issues (as in your case) most likely you will get ADR---therefore about 6 months. Shorter times in other cities
