Going on vacation after application

Hello all,

I will be applying for citizenship in the next few days. I will be going on vacation out of Canada for three weeks about a month after applying.

1) Is there a need to inform anyone about this trip?

2) Would there likely be any regular mail correspondence that I could miss while on vacation?

Highly likely IRCC will not open your application within 2 months from the time they received it. Even if they did the only thing they might do within two to three months is acknowledge receipt of your application which could be sent to you by email (if you choose email communication). Nothing serious will be done to your application within two to three months, so no need to inform anyone that you are travelling. My hunch.
