Global Business Management at Humber for only 16 Months?

Today i received the offer letter for GBM at humber for JAN 16. But offer letter states that the course is for 16 months only i.e. 4 consecutive semesters. So the question here is how can we get a 3 year work permit? i was expecting a two year course so that i can get a 3 year work permit... ANYONE FROM HUMBER? please clarify this issue... i think i will only get a visa for 1.5 years and a work permit for the same... thats really sad..pls help
