Giving my biometrics

Hi I'm from the Phillipines.

I'm already inside canada as a visitor, i entered last December and I submit my apllication for open work permit and extension for visitor.

Do i need to give my biometrics because this is what bothers me.

If you haven't done it before Yes, system should have told you when you created application. You will need to leave Canada to do so.

Does it counts when i entered canada by air in my arrival there was a electronics or a machine that i scan my passport take my picture and fingerprint

Does it counts as a biometrics?
