Tried searching the forum for information on following matters related to gift deed but couldnt find answers.
1. Had there been a case where one gets ITA, and then gets the majority of amount (i.e. 90%) in form of gift deed from parent. How good is this case? Does this create any problem regarding the amount being 90% of POF funds? Or it being done at the nick of time? Really concerned about this.
Please help develop answer to this.
Also, had there been rejections in past due to POF gift deed method? Is anybody aware of such cases?
I have certain queries in which your guidance will be required:
1. Should the gift deed be made before or after receiving ITA.
2. When should be the funds transferred as a gift from my father, after making the gift deed or before making the gift deed?
3. Do I need to show the bank statements of both this accounts in case of Gift Deed?
If yes, then how much old months statement do we require in case of Gift deed.

Point#1 here doesn't make sense. How can you know if you are going to recieve the ITA and you make the funds transfer and gift deed beforehand?
As far as I have studied this on the forum, It is fine if you make the funds transfer after the ITA and have the deed made then. This is the option that makes sense.
