Hello everyone,
According to my passport, I have my first name/given name as 'Rishabh Sudhir' and last name as 'Jiresal'.
I filled the application form of GIC Scotiabank and there in the first name I couldn't add space between two words. So while filling the application, I wrote my first name as 'Rishabh' and last name 'Jiresal'.
Will this be an issue? Can my GIC get rejected due to this problem of mismatched names? Anyone with the same issue? Should I continue with sending them the funds?
I got their mail and I got the account number to transfer the funds along with the instructions.

I want to know what should I write in the place of surname in gic account ...because I don't have any surname only given single name on my passport "ankush" what should I write there, as it is mondatory column to fill ..
1- should I write my name on both places if yes , how should I send money to gic account ...because in instruction they said use your name as given in passport ....should I write " ankush " ....or I have to write "ankush ankush"
Because in my gic account my agent write ankush ankush and I receive email from Scotia bank with same name - they write ###dear ankush ankush ......and provide details
I received my GIC but it has mistakenly printed MR.name instead of MS.name. only the title is wrong.
Can the corrections be done after receiving GIC? kindly reply as i have to start my visa application
Guys, I'm trying to fill the gic form and my name printed in passport is Sampath Narayanan but the gic form is not supporting space in the first name field also I dont have a surname field so they have mentioned like put your printed passport name in both the fields (Firstname and surname field). Any help of how to proceed further? thanks.
Here is to inform everyone that my MR has been successfully corrected to MS.
The process is simple u just mail to the bank stating your concerns with proper documents attached and bank will contact and resolve the issue within 5 business working days.
