GIC rejected!

Hey guys. My GIC investment was rejected with the reason 'ordering customer and beneficiary customer does not match our records'. I'm not entirely sure what this means. If there's anyone that has gone through this same

Have you followed the instructions while remitting your GIC. It seems that either you have not remitted the amount from your own account or there is a mismatch of data on record in your account and the wiring instructions .

There are slight differences. My passport address does not match my back address. Will I have to change the address in my bank?. My concern actually is that should my name's also be exactly similar? There's a spelling difference of just one letter in my middle name in my bank account and passport.

Yes you will have to get it changed on record with your bank. Both the name as well as the address.

Your name may pass scrutiny but your address had to be the same . Better to be safe change your spelling too
