gic fund transfer today....whats next?

Hello everyone,I transfer my gic fund today and they didn't gave me a swift code nbr ...they just gave me a letter with reference nbr for trf.shud I send this to Scotia bank as proof or ask for swift nbr?and whom.shud I sent to with what format?pls help guys..

no, you should ask your bank for the swift details,which includes your name and GIC account no, without that neither you nor scotiabank will be able to track the payment..do ask for it..even if by any chance you have to ask for refund from scotiabank they would require the swift copy..no reference letter..

I transfered the amount the through HDFC bank, they said to me it takes 2 days to get the SWIFT copy.

If they did transfer to royal bank of canada than they will give you your swift recets hand to hand.
If direct to Scotia bank ooska cant say anything

Do I need to send them any follow up mail regarding fund transfer?In application guide,Its written that dont send amy follow up mail once fund is transferred,scotiabank will ctc you upon once fund is recieved and will provide you with gic certificate.
