GIC Certificate recipt!

Hello friends, I transfered the funds to my gic account on 5th aug 2015. When will i get my GIC recipt from scotia bank so that i can apply my visa in embassy. Is there any way to get the recipt ungently? Plz help guys as last date to apply in embassy is 10th aug2015 acc to my counseller. I shall b very thankful to u if u reply.

Hey!! It takes 3 days for swift to be processed and 5 days for them to get the certificate . Make sure you've put all your name and stuff correctly and send it to the proper branch!1 It took me 1 and half month for the swift to complete because of an extra alphabet in my name .

I was in a similar situation bro. Remitted the funds on the 26th Of July. Got the certificate on the 31st. That means 5 working days. during that time i called them thrice on different days asking to issue on an immediate basis but they didnt budge because it is a systematic process. Dont worry. You will get it in a few days time

It is recommend to apply before 1st August as per checklist
But I think you should apply for visa if your college is starting after 4-5 weeks
