Ghost updates

I applied for a study permit with my spouse and son in July 13. Eligibility review started Aug 1 for me and my son and medical was passed on the 2nd Aug for me alone. And Aug 11, the three of us received ghost updates on gckey and tracker but no obvious update was seen in our applications except that eligibility was started for my spouse too. Please what does the ghost update mean for us?

In my latest application I Received ghost update when my background check completed. Or when eligibility started

Actually, eligibility had started before I received the ghost update 2 weeks after eligibility
