Ghost Update - Citizenship Application

Hi All, just wondering does receiving a 'ghost' Email trigger an update is one of the 'Citizenship Progress' indicators to go from 'In Progress' to 'Completed'? Is this something that we should watch out for? Or does it mean something else entirely?

Btw; I have not received any Ghost Emails but am just asking as I have seen a few people mention this is various threads.

I think Ghost Updates are reported by people who frequently check the status and see that there was a date change but no visible change to any of the components. At least I haven't received any emails except the ones for AOR and Test / Interview.

Meaning the file had been opened, looked at or worked on by the officer. It may follow a real update on most cases in an unknown time period.

Same here. I got ghost update on Jan 17, 2022 (IRCC started processing my case in old tracker) and ghost update on Jan. 26, 2022 (nothing updated both new and old tracker, as of this morning). I haven't received any fingerprint request whatsoever so far. Not sure what happened to my case...
