Happy new year all!

Does anyone know the current work permit processing time for Accra candidates? I know the cic website says 8-9 weeks but I am going on 12 weeks since I filed my application and so would like to know the "real" timeline. I sent an inquiry this morning as to the delay and got an email saying they had backlog issues but no estimated new deadline was provided. Anyone please advise.
