Hi,
When I submitted my application, I opted for an E-certificate expecting a virtual cermoney.
However,I got invited for an in-person cermoney.
Can I change my mind and tell them I want a paper certificate during the cermoney so that I can get it right away?

If your oath ceremony is in-person, then the default certificate is a paper certificate. If you would prefer an e-certificate instead, you can let the clerk know during registration at the ceremony.
I was in the same situation. I had specified that I wanted an e-certificate when I submitted my citizenship application. However, I was invited to an in-person oath ceremony and received a paper certificate. In the end it worked out better for me because I have a flight in a few days so I didn't have to wait for them to email me the certificate to apply for my passport.
Good luck! And congrats on the oath invite.
