getting married to a canadian citizen while pr processing in buffalo

hi ,
as a worker in canada I applied for my pr 6 months ago and i'm right in the middle of my application (medical step),
my fiance is a canadian citizen and we re going to get married next week ,
I would like to know what's going to happen to my application ? does it going to change or delay it ?
do I only need to send an update to the federal gov. ?

Doesn't delay your appliction. You just need to make sure you let them know of the status change before you "land".

You can put together a package of evidence from the wedding and send it in.
