getting into canadian system...seniors pls your suggestion.......

Hi,
I got landed on 28th June, and came to Downtown to be there for a week, now i am in my own appart at Victoria Park.

I have a daughter with 2yrs+ and both of us me and my spouse.
what i did:
1. On 29th I applied for SIN ( for all of us)and got it on the same day with a printed paper however i am waiting for the Original card.
2. 30th , took a public mobile and opened bank account with RBC..free account service for the immigrants for 6 months and after 6 months we could transfor th acount.
3. I called on 4163925437 and ragistared for Day care service for my child( so that both of us could be free to work) with gov of canada and i am in waiting list now...
4. ......became the member of YMCA and collected information regarding our settlement.
5. ....joined internet, home phone and TV
6. 11 july I thought to take security training with INTERCON and called on 4162296811 and have booked my class from coming Monday onwards on day shift so that i could start survival jobs...
7.13th july i have booked an appointment with Access Allinces so that i could discuss on child benifit,tax benifit, health card application...GST..HST..etc all

Pls seniors suggest me something more if i could and should do...for better settlement and to use governmental facilities as well as better survibal jobs..

I have not thought yet to join for further study immediately...and will decide after few months only on what to read....
