Hi
I must provide fingerprints for my australian police check.
I live in South Korea and was told they had to be done
on an FBI fingerprint form here and there is no other option.
Do you think that is ok?
Hi
How long did you stay in Aus to have to get the NPC for? If you want to have it you can download the online application form from following link... but for getting your fingerprint done I am afraid you need to visit to local police station at Australia...
http://www.afp.gov.au/what-we-do/police-checks
I also needed my fingerprints doing for an Australian Federal Police check and I just called my local police station here in UK and they put me onto the section who happily did my fingerprints for me on a standard fingerprint chart (for a fee of course) which I then posted to the AFP with the completed form and required fee.
Apparently, they have quite a few requests for fingerprints for various things, immigration just being one of them, and knew exactly what I would need. I got an appointment the next day and walked out with it all completed.
Thats good to know that you can do your fingerprint from ur home/residing country... That makes life lot easier... The AFP might take some time to post you back the PCC certificate (at least 4-8 wks i guess)
All the best

It took about 3 months to get my AFP check back - just for them to say there was nothing on it!
???
Yes I can understand it could be...
Even being in Australia it took me 8 weeks to just to certify as with "No C record"!!
