Getting an LMIA

I'm looking to get an LMIA.
My welding credential from my home country are not recognized here in Alberta.
If i do a CWB test and pass would this CWB ticket get me approved LMIA?
Any information would be helpful.

An LMIA is something your employer must apply for - it's not something you can apply for yourself.

Passing a test does not mean you automatically qualify for an LMIA.

To obtain an approved LMIA, an employer must advertise a job for at least a month to prove no Canadian could be found for the role and then submit the LMIA application themselves. They must also provide you with a full time job offer.
