How many of you guys were able to get a visit visa while processing a spouse PR visa?is it possible?if so, what are the chances of getting approved for visit visa while working on the spouse visa?
It is possible but mostly improbable - depends on a lot of factors: the country you are applying, the ties you have to that country (property/school/job etc), financial funds, and the visa officer's mood that day
We applied under Conjugal Partner after I had 3 visitor visa requests rejected. After applying and with the evidence that we applied, I tried again last month. Bummer, rejected again. I didn't satisfy them this time either. They're reasons were: my family ties in Canada or in my country (I have relatives in Canada and no brothers or sisters here, only parents), purpose of visit (I stated I wanted to visit my partner!), documentation to support my income or the host's income (even if now I have a bigger salary and more properties than 2 yrs ago when they approved a visitor visa). These are the regular rejection factors. Because of my PR application they added two more reasons: Not satisfied that dual intent applies (just visiting while PR application in process) and Not satisfied that I am not an intended immigrant.
