Getting a Refund- BOWP Fees

Hi All,

I got a question. I called CIC yesterday to cancel my BOWP application and get a refund. I am a PR now, so I no longer need the permit.

The agent said I did not have to do anything to get my fees back and that he would write a note . But just checking if that's correct or if I have to email my receipts. I remember a couple of times that I had to email my receipts to a CIC email address to get my refund. So just wondering if any of you knows. Thanks

Congrats on your PR,

As the agent mentioned you don't have to do anything. You will receive the refund in the format of a cheque. But if you are super fussy about this, you can call them again and speak to another agent just to make sure.
