I'm applying for a passport for my newborn, but noticed it required a guarantor from a set list. One of the options is I could use someone who lives in the same household who also has a Canadian Passport. Problem is my wife is PR, so that won't work. However, can she be the principal apply for a passport for our kid being PR, and I become the guarantor?
