Getting a job with my foreign BSC after completing 2 years diploma course in Canada

Hi...I just completed my BSC (Geology) in Nigeria, but I am applying for a 2 years diploma course in programming in Canada. I want my BSC from Nigeria to be relevant to me when I settle after studies in Canada and I'm planning on sending the bsc transcript to the college in Canada for admission. Do I have to send my bsc result to WES for verification if I am to use it in Canada to get a job? Or does the college verification stand in for it? Thanks
