Newbie here. Thanks for all the threads in here that have given me useful hints and the steps I need to take.
I applied for Express Entry two days ago. I meet the Federal Skilled Workers requirements. I am in Canada on an ICT (WP expiring on 10th Oct 2017). I have mentioned my UCI during the application and I assume that this will link my ICT status to my application. Is this sufficient to add 50 points to my score? On the day of submission, my score was 440. On another post (not able to post a link, but the title is please-suggest-additional-50-points-thro-crs-arranged-employment-ict-t467497.0.html), it was mentioned it takes 24 hrs to reflect the score change.
Since ICT doesn't really mean a job offer, I selected No under the question "Does you have a job offer in Canada?" If I should have answered Yes, do I need to have upload any document now? Or, give proof (company letter etc.) when I get my ITA?
If you're claiming having a valid job offer and wish to claim those 50 points you have to answer "yes" to the "Does you have a job offer in Canada?" question.
I expect to continue working in the same company if I get my PR. I am not sure if I would get a formal "offer of employment". I could get a reference letter supporting my claim that I have been working since May 2015 for the same company and would continue to work at the same role in the future.
To clarify, I don't need to upload any documents now right? And finally, if there is a draw today, am I considered to be part of the "pool"?
