I am a South Korean who studied at Canadian university but had to go back Korea for the military service. Now the service is done and I am planning to go back to school. I am a 4th year engineering student.
My question is, is possible to get eTa first and go to Canada, get things like housing sorted out first, while I apply for study permit in Canada? Or would it be better to just apply for the study permit in Korea? and why?
I've read a few cases on this forum but then most of the cases are for the people who are new to Canada. I lived in Canada for 10 years and I'm just trying to continue study but I wasn't sure what the best way to proceed with the study permit is.
1. Your sister is NOT considered a family member for a study permit in Canada. Family members are spouses and their dependent children, you have to apply abroad.
