GCMS received / 25 days left only medical exam passed

Hi,

Trust you are all well.
Need your input on my current situation any information is much appreciated.

My fiancee and I applied. Our AOR was 14th of January but since then only our medical exams have been passed. We have 25 days left before the due date but still nothing.

We ordered GCMS notes, but we can't figure out what could be delaying our progress.

I see review required but not sure in relation to what. I would like to be proactive but I don't know where to start.

Please note that the document review mentioned at the bottom already took place but there was no other document required or under review. The document requested was just a form to give my sibling authorisation to request information or access my file.

Did you get rejected for any US/Canada visa before and did not say "YES" to the two visa rejection questions in app?

No i have never been to the US before or Canada or applied for a visa there. I had one visa rejection in South Africa in the past that I appealed and it was granted and I mentionned everything in the form and letter of explanation.

2. I am not an expert but I have picked up a few things reviewing GCMS notes most folks post into this forum and comparing those with mine. Here is my Analysis about yours

Getting straight to the point your delay is because of 'PA: Statutory details located in separate GCMS note' & 'Recommendation: Review Required — Stat Questions'. Basically whoever reviewed your file initially, made a recommendation that the final reviewer should look into the evidence of your visa rejection (Statutory question that you answered Yes). It may or may not be an issue since I don't know your case and reason for refusal. In this case you cannot do anything else to speed things up apart from just wait and let them (IRCC) use their resources to verify the reasoning that you provided for Visa refusal is true. You did good to declare visa refusal. I have two refusals myself but they were eventually approved in the same visa category, provided those refusals are almost a decade ago.

It just means our applications will take longer than usual. Hang in there
