I have just recently ordered gcms notes and asked for application for permanent residence notes. was I supposed to request for sponsorship application notes? I hope I Didn't order the wrong notes. can anyone tell me what I was supposed to order?

If you want to have the notes for the principal applicant, then the ones you ordered are fine. The sponsorship notes are for the sponsor's part of the application.

ok that's what I figured. I already received SA so I wanted to see why there has been no PPR yet. thanks for your response

Unfortunately, you ordered the wrong notes. It is the notes from your "sponsorship file" that you want. The "sponsorship approval" (SA) and permanent residence application for the sponsored spouse all fall under "sponsorship file".

Also, if you want notes on your spouse, be sure to include a signed consent (form IMM 5744) in order for CIC to release information about them to you.

I've ordered notes from our sponsorship file, two times now, and already got notes from my first request with no problems.

o ok good to know now before I wait a month for the wrong thing. I did also include the consent form tho. thanks for the response. at least they're only 5$ so it sucks but isn't a terrible loss.
