Hi

I have a question that: How long does it take to receive the decision after the status shows "Decision Made" ???

I checked on 22 February 2023 and the status showed "Decision Made" however the status remained unchanged as of 21 February 2023 which was a letter asking me to sign up for Pre-Arrival Services.

If someone else has been referred for resettlement to Canada by UNHCR, please do share your experience.

By the way, I got BIL, a Loan Form, and 13 other forms to sign and return on 09 February, and medical instructions on 10 February; all the forms were completed and returned on the same day on the 9th, while biometrics and medical were completed on 13 February 2023

Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
  4. We sent you medical instructions on February 10, 2023. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
  5. Medical results have been received.
  6. We sent you correspondence on February 21, 2023. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Have you submitted your passports yet?
What's your timeline for which year your application was initially submitted? And your Visa office?

09 February 2023: Received BIL, Loan Form, and a few more documents to sign
10 February 2023: Received Medical Exam Instructions
13 February 2023: Completed Biometrics and Medical Test

22 February 2023: Status showed "Decision Made"

Nothing since then

Honestly, I have never seen a case processed in less than a month. GAR takes 30+ months usually. Congrats on being one of the very people, dude. You will probably be asked to submit photos in a couple of days so they can issue a one-time travel document. if you need an exit permit they will arrange it for you and you will get tickets.

One Photo was taken during a medical exam at the UN medical center, one photo was taken during biometrics, one photo was attached with all the forms,

I can't pay for flights, they are aware I am totally penniless, for air tickets, and land transport during departure and arrival, I already signed a loan form, which I would have to return to the Canadian government in 36 months.

Yes, everything will be supported by the UNHCR/IOM you don't have to pay for anything. You should wait for further instructions from UNHCR or IOM.

Unfortunately, There's not much info on how things work for GARs , I can tell for PSR If you get 'Decision Made' on the portal, it's just a matter of weeks before you arrive in Canada.
