Full Time Experience and Education overlap due to backlogs

Hi,

I am in the process of submitting an ExpressEntry application and with regards to the Work History section i have a question, Below is my Case
Degree : BE Mechanical Engineering (2008 - 2012)
First Job : Accenture (Start Date : May 2012) as a full time employee(45 hours per week)
My final semester results were announced by June 2012. But i got an arrear backlog in one of the subjects i had to take the exam again on Nov 2012 and cleared it. thus my Degree certificate indicates completion on 'Nov 2012' but if i did not have the arrear it would have been May 2012(Matching my work experience start date)

So based on my work experience i now have 6+ years experience, On considering my degree certificate (exams completion date) it is only 5+ years of experience.

The 2 questions :
What should be my experience years ?(5+ or 6+ years )
If 5+, then i have a start date of my employment as May-2012, that does not match up.(The experience certificate from organisation states start date it as May 2012, i cannot change it).

Note : Accenture was okay with my backlog as they gave 6 months time from joining date to submit the degree certificate(eventually i cleared it within 6 months time period).

Count your experience from the day which your organization has mentioned.
