Hi all,

I've created this topic for all of us who have sent or will send their Full Documents to the local visa offices in JUNE 2010. Let's share our timeline and experiences.

Do we have to notarized the photocopies of documents like birth certificate,degree etc.??

You need to notarized all the documents.

i took my documents to notary and he said he can notarize my signature not the document. please advise.

They are getting the wrong end of the stick. You want them to notarize the document to say it is a true copy of what is presented as an original document. Any notary who knows what they are doing can do this

As i understand,there is no requirement by Buffalo,NY to send all Notarized documents.London and New Delhi are asking for notarized documents .They only require those documents to be notarized which are not in english or french.Rest of the documents can be sent as copies.
But ofcoure you need to send the originals of

1.Education Transcripts
2.PCC/FBI
3.Employment Reference Letters.

I dont have education transcripts, but i have all marksheets and university degree, can i send certified photocopies of it? Also Employment refrence letter i have it in electronic format like pdf format. Also do i have to take employment letter from my current employer??

Unfortunately you have to send the Transcripts ONLY.I believe a notarized employment reference letter would do.
