I'm just curious how they use the answer to the question "where do you intend to live" on the General Application Form for Canada. Some people are saying that you basically are forced to live in that city/province if you get approved. Is that the case, or can you work anywhere in Canada once you are approved? I've found conflicting information on it, so if you can shed any light on the subject that would be appreciated.

Used by statistics Canada for prospective distribution, As a census is only done every 10 years, they need the information for the transfer of Federal Funds to the Provinces, based on population. "Some people" don't have a clue about what they are talking about.
