Here is my background information:
I worked in a company for 1 year and 8 months. However, in half of that period, I was a full-time student.
According to IRCC website, work experience gained while you were a full-time student (even if you were on a co-op work term) doesn’t count towards the minimum requirements for this program.
But it does counts under FSWP program...
I've already submitted my profile and it shows I'm eligible for both FSWP & CEC...
In this case, what should I do? Since I'm not really eligible for CEC and I had no other way to explain this situation in the system.
Also, on the website, it said "If you met the criteria for CEC and FSWP, you would also get an invitation to apply under the CEC."
I'm so confused... Thanks in advance for any information you can give
Was your work experience gained while you were a full time student part time work?
You won't be eligible for CEC precisely because of what you cited about your work experience as an international student not counting towards the experience requirement.
As for FSW, have you met the requirement of 1 year of continuous work experience?

No experience you gained while in Canada in Co-Op and internship as a international student with full time status will count towards your 1 year CEC requirement AND FSW/EE requirements

This is correct officially although there have been many instances on this forum where people's coop/internship experience within Canada was not accepted for FSW experience points

I think you're right and this is the best answer. I created another profile for express entry. And this time claimed that my one year work experience was using my study permit in Canada.
Now, I'm eligible for FSW but I don't get the 40 points.
