Hello everyone, im new here and i would love to know some information, as the FSW is suspended for the time being and I want to apply for the quebec FSW, however, I do have just the ielts test and i want to pass interview and everything in english; so will I get to choose between english or french on the day of the interview or immigrants applying for quebec region are required to pass the test in french as well as submitting papers in french too
Correction, you are right. You would need to take French language test only if you need points for your french language. So, I assume that you can chose to interview in English as knowing French is not required?

From what i gathered from Quebec's immigration site, you should be ok. Also, it might help you to join threads dedicated to QSW. Here are a couple of those:
But i dont like passing test or whatever test knowing that your not comfortable or that you dont feel freely talking, having said that doesnt mean that im 0 at french cause im working for french company; but its just im more of anglophone rather than francophone thats all
French is much more important than English there, they'll award you a maximum of 6 points for English (IELTS speaking 7, listening 8 ) and a maximum of 16 points for French (scoring at least C1 in both), if you hold a masters or a PhD they'll give you a maximum of 12 points and if your area of training doesn't award at least 6 points your application simply won't be acceptable, so yeah, it's quite different when compared with FSW
