FSW - NOC 2171/2173 : September 2014 : is it too late?

hiAll,

i am looking to apply for my brothers under FSW in NOC 2171/NOC 2173 , unfortunately i have started late on this and now cannot get iELTS date before Sep 06 and education verification will also take almost a month,
Any idea if i should still try it or September timeframe will already be too late ?

Unfortunately, noone knows exact numbers. You can rely on the global spreadsheet and Caps Estimates provided there. In addition, you can take a calculator and divide 1000 (cap per noc) by average applications-per-day according to official statistics at CIC and by 30 days so that you will get number of months it will take to fill this cap. Now it seems like NOC 2171 will be filled within about 8 months from May, and NOC 2173 will be filled within 5 months from May. Thus you may try with 2171 while 2173 is likely to fill before September. This is my rough estimates so use with caution

I think it should be fine. Any how it looks like there's nothing much you can do before SEP. So wait until August mid to last week to check on the NOC CAP Status and the Spreadsheet Stats. Take your call based on that.
