Hello,
I have sent my documents to Sydney office in Canada 2 months ago (June 2013) for FSW immigration. The post track said my documents are delivered, However I have not received any file number or anything from Canada. Is this normal?

hi fiona its quite normal to not get any information from cic..normally u will receive a mail by CIC about per or ner regarding your file in 2 to 3 months time after your file received there.
my file recach there on 15th may 2013 and i got per on 24th july.
so keep waiting and all the best
rightly said..Its wait and watch. but if you are curious call CIC and get ur UCI. then you can track your application
To know the status of your application by calling cic from outside canada
dial - 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc
then agent will check in the system and shall give feedback
